Yamaha 15 HP Engine Specifications
This engine is a 2-cylinder design with 362cc displacement and a bore x stroke of 63 x 58.1mm (2.48 x 2.29 in). It uses a carbureted fuel induction system, a compression ratio of 9.3:1, and runs on 87 octane recommended fuel with a maximum ethanol blend of 10%. Full throttle RPM range is 5,000–6,000 RPM, intake is 4-valve, and the engine carries a C.A.R.B. 3-Star emissions rating.
Yamaha 15 HP Electrical, Ignition, and Lubrication
Ignition is a CDI system with a DPR6EB-9 spark plug, and starting is both electric and manual. The alternator delivers 10 amp output at wide-open throttle. Lubrication is a wet sump system using Yamalube 4M recommended engine oil, with an oil capacity of 1.8L / 1.6L.
