Yamaha F50 Engine Specifications
This engine is an inline four-cylinder (i4) design with 1.0L displacement and a bore x stroke of 65 x 75mm (2.56 x 2.95 in). It uses Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI), a compression ratio of 9.5:1, and runs on 87 octane recommended fuel with a maximum ethanol blend of 10%. Full throttle RPM range is 5,000–6,000 RPM, intake is 8-valve, and the engine carries a C.A.R.B. 3-Star emissions rating.
Yamaha F50 Electrical, Ignition, and Lubrication
Ignition is handled by a TCI microcomputer system with a DPR6EB-9 spark plug, and starting is electric. The alternator delivers 16 amp output at wide-open throttle.
