Yamaha 25 HP Engine Specifications
This engine is a 2-cylinder design with 432cc displacement and a bore x stroke of 65 x 65.1mm (2.56 x 2.56 in). It uses Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI), a compression ratio of 9.3:1, and runs on 87 octane recommended fuel with a maximum ethanol blend of 10%. Full throttle RPM range is 5,000–6,000 RPM, intake is 4-valve, and the engine carries a C.A.R.B. 2-Star emissions rating.
Yamaha 25 HP Electrical, Ignition, and Lubrication
Ignition is a CDI microcomputer system with a DPR6EB-9 spark plug, and starting is both electric and manual. The alternator delivers 16 amp output at wide-open throttle. Lubrication is a wet sump system using Yamalube 4M recommended engine oil, with an oil capacity of 1.1L / 1.0L. Cooling is thermostatically controlled, and recommended fuel filtration is a Yamaha 10-micron fuel/water separating filter (external).
